What is the Midwest Half+Half Challenge?
Run either the Indy Mini or the Wisconsin Half Marathon on Saturday, May 4, and then run the Borgess Half Marathon on Sunday, May 5.
What You Get
You get special treatment at the Saturday Expo, including your own special bib (different color) so spectators can recognize your achievement. If you can’t get to Kalamazoo in time for the Expo on Saturday, we provide you with a special place to pick up your race packet, including your bib, just north of “Celebration City” in the Transformation center. You’ll also get a Meal Deal Ticket and a special Half+Half medal (in addition to your Kalamazoo finisher medal).
How It Works
You need to register for each race separately. When you register for the Borgess Half Marathon in Kalamazoo check the option that tells us you are participating in the Midwest Half+Half Challenge and we’ll add you to our list. Then just bring your medal or race bib from Indy or Wisconsin when you pick up your Kalamazoo bib.
Questions? Contact email@example.com.
To qualify, you must run the half marathon races on Saturday and Sunday. Running a half marathon in one city and a full marathon in another doesn’t qualify you for the Half+Half Challenge (or the Earn Your Mittens Challenge for marathoners). For those who wish to run two marathons that weekend, visit EarnYourMittens.
