Gull Road is about the only way to arrive at the race site at 3025 Gull Road. Traffic will be heavy and parking takes time. Plan to arrive up to an hour or more before your event. Consider carpooling! Why so early? The campus and roads near the campus close as early as 7:45. Marathoners run west on Gull Road at 8 a.m. sharp, and other races are lining up at that time. The campus is closed from 7:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Police, security and volunteers will help you park.
Shuttles from the Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center leave between 6:30 and 6:40 a.m. (no later). They leave the Radisson on the half hour from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and return to the Radisson on the hour from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Shuttle buses are also available at the Borgess Heart Center for Excellence, a mile west of the race site. Shuttles run from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. Return buses return to the Heart Center every 15 minutes between 9:30 and 2:30 p.m.
Shuttles will also be running on Saturday, May 4 from the Radisson at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. They will return to the Radisson at 2:00 p.m., 2:20 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 4:20 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.
